Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH MICHAEL SCHULTZ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and dad on February 7, 2006 at the Beausejour Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 31 years, Sally; and daughter Nicole (friend Jarrett); his sisters, Clara Matchizen, Rose Gmitroski (John), Adeline Marynewich, Joan Modjeski, Steffie Gosselin, Pat Rattai (Richard); brothers, John (Celine), Richard (Carol); sisters in-law Jean Wazny, Debbie Allard (Ray); brother in-law Norman Garbolinski (Betty) and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his parents, William and Josephine; mother and father-in-law Michael and Mary Garbolinski; sister Katie; brothers-in-law Benny, Joe, John and Eddie. Joe had been employed in the fiberglass industry for several years where his many projects are seen. His final job was with Joh-Mar Industries, however due to ill health in 2004 he was faced with the difficult decision of terminating his employment. Prayers will be said on Friday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Park Avenue East, Beausejour. Cremation will follow with interment in the Holy Ghost Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers will be nephews, Ken Matchizen, Gregg Schultz, Kevin Rattai, David Schultz, brother-in-law Norman Garbolinski and Godson Darrin Murash. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joe to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to a charity of one's choice. Joe chose to fight the battle in silence, His courage and selfless act will give Us the strength and courage to live on.
