SARAH ALLARD Peacefully on February 3, 2006 at the age of 76 with her family by her side our precious Mother and Nana passed away. In her own words Mom felt that she was truly blessed with so many wonderful people in her life. Sarah will be lovingly remembered by her sons and their families; Ken (Laura) and Gary (Alicja); forever cherished by grandchildren Lisa, Stacie, Jonathan, Michelle and Nicole. She will be missed by her brother Carl (Yvette) Trumbla; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Toni, Therese, Gilbert and Lorette. She was predeceased by her loving husband Paul, devoted sister Nora and her parents Gwendilyne and Elmer Trumbla. Mom was born and raised on the farm in Elie, MB. She loved to share stories of her youth and growing up there, about going to school, helping with chores, and especially of Christmas. It was there she met the love of her life and future husband, Paul. They married in 1953 and moved to Winnipeg where they settled and raised their two sons. Sarah worked at Eaton's for 27 years and made many friends which she kept close with over the years, even after retiring in the mid 90's. Of her many interests in life, travel brought Sarah much excitement and joy. The Hawaiian Islands were among her favourite destinations, along with the Caribbean and Mexico. Mom embraced life, enjoying reading, gardening and working, and oh how she loved to throw a party! She was also an avid follower of the Royal Family and always up on current world events. Sarah was a devoted Wife, Mother and Nana. Music was very dear to Sarah's heart and she was thrilled that her grandchildren sang and played music for her. Always remember you were her pride and joy.
