JOAN ELIZABETH JAMES Suddenly, on Saturday, February 4, 2006, Joan passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 73 years. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her daughter Michelle (Frank) and their two children, Kyle and Julie; brother Ted (Judy); other family members David (Evelyne) and their daughter Jamie of Calgary, AB. Joan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; they were the apple of her eye. She also looked forward to car rides with her brother Ted. On Monday, February 13 at 1:00 p.m. Joan's funeral service will be held in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. (corner of Ness Avenue and Mount Royal Road). For those who wish, parking will be available in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church parking lot located on Ness Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's memory to The Winnipeg Humane Society.
