CARRIE JANE WILSON (nee WASNEY) Peacefully on February 13, 2006 our Nana passed away with her family by her side. She was predeceased by 10 of her brothers and sisters and her grandson-in-law Denis Vandal. Nana is survived by her daughters, Judy and Joan; grandchildren, Jeannette, Brent, Debra (James), Brenda (Joe); great-grandchildren, Scott (Melanie), Crystal, Allysha, Ryan, Tyler, Danielle; and great-great-granddaughter Amelia. Sisters, Anne, Julie; sister-in-law Stephie and many extended family members. Nana was employed by Tomboy Grocery Store for over 40 years. During this time she raised her two daughters and was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, be it gardening or caring for her many animals. Nana will always be remembered for her good heart and her generous spirit. The family wishes to extend their thank you to the staff on the 6th Floor of the Misericordia Health Centre for their compassionate care of our Nana during her stay. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, February 16, 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment and Reception to follow. Pastor Loren Pullman officiating.
