The family would like to extend thanks to her nieces Doreen Pound, Lynn Campbell and Susan Campbell for all their help during this trying time. Also to the wonderful nurses and aides on N3W at Concordia Hospital. You gave our Mom so many hugs and kisses and we know she loved the care each and every one of you extended to her and to her family. Our thanks also to Dr. Nicole Mercier for all your help. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Memorial Eye Foundation, Box 132 - 4025 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg; Saint George's Anglican Church, 121 Pandora Ave. West, Winnipeg or a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 701 Regent Ave. West, Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to WHEELER FUNERAL CHAPEL 701 REGENT AVENUE WEST, 224-1525. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting, Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered, Come with Me. So when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again. WE LOVE YOU MOM AND GRANDMA
