CASHMER MACHULA It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on February 13, 2006 at the Middlechurch Home. He leaves to mourn, his beloved wife Jean of 63 years; his daughter Margaret (Ron Dobrinsky); his son David (Donna, grandsons Brent and Colin); his daughter Marilyn (Harold Peterson, grandson Jeff) his son Jim (Virginia) and his sister Jean Wazney. His parents, his sister Mary and brother Bill predeceased him. Dad was born on September 16, 1918 in Ladywood, MB; raised in Tyndall, met his wife Jean in Komarno in 1942 and they were married on July 3, 1943. Dad served overseas in the Second World War with #10 DD Royal Canadian Service Corps returning after the war in 1946. Dad resided in Rivercrest for 46 years. His happiest times were family gatherings, gardening and woodworking. His greatest passion was crafting of 13 violins and he had many hours of enjoyment playing his creations. Dad was employed by CP Express for 29 years retiring in 1983.
