Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELAINE ANNABELLE WILSON My Darling Wife We the Tanner family of Winnipeg, are saddened to announce the sudden passing of a dear friend and a loving wife. On February 10, 2006 at the age of 45 years, our Elaine passed away. Born to Glen and Ora (Hamilton) Wilson in Glenboro, MB on September 15, 1960. Her surviving siblings are Arlene (Larry) Kolody and David Wilson. Elaine was predeceased by her grandparents and brother Brian Albert Wilson. She moved to Dauphin, MB at the age of 2 1/2 years with her family and resided, until she went to Calgary, AB and where her daughter Deborah was born. Later she returned to Dauphin and this is where her son Kelly was born. In future years Elaine moved to Brandon, MB to pursue her employment opportunity. Here is where she met her partner of 15 years Wayne Tanner. They moved to Winnipeg and have resided here since. Elaine helped raise children whom she loved as her own, Ashton (18), Allison (15), Austin (13) who resided with her and Wayne at early ages. All the children she helped with including, Colt (15), Hope (9), Summer (8) would come on school breaks and summer vacations to visit her. Elaine was always there to help out. All the while, waiting with pride and joy for her first grandchild. Elaine gained knowledge working in various positions within her career choice, her recent position and the one she loved was at Acklands Grainger. Prayers will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. also at Glen Eden. Cremation will take place after the funeral service. Honourary pallbearers will be all her friends, relatives and family members, staff and management at Acklands Grainger and staff and management of Merit Transport.
