She joins her late husband James McCully for the 60th Anniversary of their engagement on February 14. February 15, 2004 Dad began his journey without Mom and now they are together again. Left behind to muddle through are her children, Greg (Sharon), Janelle (Larry), Chris (Cindy), Cheryl (David), Sandee (Robert); grandchildren, Cory, Colleen, Meagan, Katie, Jackie, Miranda, Connor; granddoggies, Tage Bear and Shadow. Mom will also be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her siblings, numerous other relatives and family friends. Allison was born in her family home on Martin Avenue in Elmwood. She met the love of her life Jim at the local hangout. Mom loved life and laughter. Her children and grandchildren were her main focus in life and her pride and joy. Her favourite pastimes consisted of going to the Casino (or any where there was a VLT), gardening, reading, crosswords, travelling and the lake. She had various jobs throughout her working career and later in life volunteered for 25 years at the Christmas Cheer Board. Mom endured much pain and discomfort at the end, but showed such strength, grace and spirit. She was and will always be an inspiration to all who where blessed to cross her path, even if only for a short time. We are lost Mom, but you are at peace and for that we are thankful. Our love forever!
