MIKE PIC Mike passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital on February 15, 2006. Mike was born in Boratyn, Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in 1947. His first job in Canada was working on the railway in Vancouver. Mike was a cabinet maker by trade and also had a small farm in West St. Paul. He was a longstanding parishioner at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral in Winnipeg. Mike is survived by his children, Mary (Bill), George (Tara); and grandchildren Larissa and Cassandra. He was predeceased by his wife Katherine in 2001. Prayers were sung 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 17 (today), also at the Cathedral with Fr. L. Ratushniak, C.Ss.R. officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
