Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS (TOM) EWASHKO Peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2006, our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Tom Ewashko, passed away at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 91 years. Tom was predeceased by his wife Marcia of 69 years, in 2002. Also predeceased by his sister Kay. He is lovingly survived by his son Ron, daughter-in-law Val, grandchildren: June, Kevin (Marie), Kelly, and great-grandchildren Tyler and Ryan. He leaves to mourn one sister Nettie (Lorne), one brother Myrcel and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was born on November 23, 1914 to Wasyl and Ann (nee Zubrack) Ewashko and grew up in Oakburn, MB. He spent many years farming in Oakburn. In 1956 he moved to Winnipeg where he was a carpenter, who also taught his skill until his retirement in 1979. Thanks to the staff at Misericordia Hospital, Tuxedo Villa Care Home and Victoria Hospital for the care they provided. In accordance with Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral service to be held in May 2006 with service date and time to be announced at a later date.
