LAURA FRANCES KEOUGH (nee HENRY) January 7, 1916 - February 14, 2006 Peacefully, on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, Mom passed away with her family by her side. Laura is survived by her daughters, Mildred (Harry) and Eleanor Woods O'Donnell; son Les II of Toronto ON; grandchildren, Jacquie (Carl), Eleanor (Brian), Les III (Lona), Larry (Sherry), Tara (Todd) and Guy (Melanie); 11 great-grandchildren; brother Herb (Val); sisters-in-law, Marge and Betty; second cousin Shirley McRae; as well as, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Herb; her husband Les of 52 years; three sisters; one brother; one brother-in-law; daughter-in-law Louise Keough; sons-in-law, Don Woods and Reg O'Donnell; two infant grandchildren; and grandson-in-law John Lynch. Mom was born in Transcona and was a longtime resident of Elmwood. When she was seven, her parents built a cottage at Malachi, ON. Many happy years were spent there. Laura attended Gordon King Memorial Church and was an active member in the Mothers Club. She loved painting landscapes, ceramics, sewing, reading, gardening and baking. Mom loved life. She was always busy with her children and grandchildren, making every holiday a special one. Her family was so important to her. We are so blessed to have been part of her life. In accordance with Laura's wishes, a private family funeral service will be held. Special thanks to all the wonderful, beautiful and handsome nursing, dietary and housekeeping staff of Deer Lodge Centre, 3 South for all the personal and loving care provided to Laura - she loved you all! A special thank you to Lorna Moskal, Ellen Locke and Rev. Pat Ferris for your many kind visits to Mom - they were greatly appreciated. Thank you Mom for all you have given us and taught us; the importance of family, love, generosity and kindness to others. Laura's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
