Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERTHE ANNE GELINEAU (nee: THERRIEN) Peacefully on Wednesday February 15, 2006 Berthe Gelineau passed away at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB at the age of 89. Berthe will be dearly missed by her seven children, Philippe (Angele), Roger (Lucienne Lebel), Louise (Reynald Marion), Raynald (Jeannine), Simone (Paul St. Laurent), Yvonne (David Gulakow) and Guy; 17 grandchildren, Suzanne (Gaetan), Paul (Shelley), Andre (Wendy), Jacqueline (Don), Neil (Crystal), Andrea (Jesus), Noel (Erin), Gilbert (Laurie), Julien, Jennifer, Dana (Andrew), Larry (Jo-Ann), Adam, Dianne, Melissa, Andrew and Aretta; 19 great-grandchildren, Matthieu, Pascal, Joel, Samuel, Genevieve, Sebastien, Marc, Noah, Issac, Kirsten, Alyssa, Olen, Kennedy, Alejandro, Karissa, Robin, Alyssa, Emma and Brady. She was predeceased by her spouse Louis, her parents and eight siblings. Berthe was born June 7, 1916 in St. Charles, MB, the sixth of nine children born to Henri and Anna (nee Mireault) Therrien. She married Louis Gelineau from Perigard, SK on November 16, 1940 and raised seven children in Lorette, MB. Mom also worked outside the family home for 17 years from 1964 to 1983 as a nurse's aide at St. Amant Centre and St. Boniface Hospital. In 1983 Mom retired and travelled across Canada and the United States with Dad for 18 years. In the summer of 2002 Mom and Dad left the family home in Lorette and moved to a senior's apartment at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB. Mom, along with Dad you built the foundation of our family with love and respect. We will miss your love and we will always remember your strong sense of fairness, your unfailing commitment and devotion to your family. The family wishes to thank the staff of Villa Youville for their compassion and loving care. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Lorette, MB. Interment will follow in Lorette Cemetery.
