Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK ALLAN SUMMERS It is with immense sadness to announce the unexpected passing of Frank Allan Summers from complications resulting from cancer on February 16, 2006. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Merton and Norris. Frank will be sadly missed by his wife Myrna Graham; his children, Scott (Elizabeth), Brad (Laura) and Tracy (Cam McLean); his sister Vera (Hayward), brother Dennis (Dian); and sister Lorraine. Frank also had a very special place in his heart for all of Myrna's children, Kim (Dave), Myles, Garrett (Missie); and his grandchildren, Jaidyn and Rhilynd. He will also be sadly missed by Myrna's family, by brothers, Jim (Debbie), Rick, Ken (Tammi); sisters, Barb (Jay), Bev (Ray), Cindy (Steve) and all their children and Myrna's mother Anne Gall. Frank made many new friends and acquaintances in his short time in Carman, who will also miss him greatly. Frank was born on August 12, 1939 in Bethany, MB. He lived, travelled and worked in many places throughout his life including Morris, Gimli, Winnipeg, Husavik and Fraserwood. Frank also spent 17 years in Pickle Lake, ON with his travels reaching as far as Tuk Toy Uk Tuk. In 2001, he decided to call Carman, MB home, where he could indulge his passion for country living with his wife Myrna. Frank was a proud man who lived his life with great dignity, honour and grace. He had a special way and spirit about him which touched everyone who knew him. Frank loved spending time with his family, friends and his buddy Bruce (his dog). He had a great understanding and appreciation for the wonder of nature and all that it represents. He enjoyed bird watching, fishing, gardening, snowmobiling, woodworking and all animals with a special enthusiasm for horses. The family would like to thank the Carman Memorial Hospital doctors and staff for their compassion, special care and hard work. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carman Memorial Hospital Aux., Box 1025, Carman, MB R0G 0J0. Funeral service will be held from Doyle's Funeral Chapel in Carman on Tuesday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. Lunch will follow at the Carman Pentecostal Church in Carman.
