LICERIO C. PERALTA 1909 - 2006 Peacefully with his family by his side at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Licerio Peralta passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2006. Licerio served in the Philippine Armed Forces in the Second World War. After the war he was a primary school teacher. Licerio retired from teaching and became a businessman. He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Maria; son Claro; and son-in-law Bob. Lolo will be lovingly remembered by his children, Pinky (Magno), Amie, Agnes (Gabriel), Jimmy (Linda), Luh (Eddie); grandchildren, Liezl (Bill), Frank, Maribel (Bernard), Michelle (Andrew), Jason, Jenny, Joel, LiliAnne, Lancer, Laura and Michael; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Mason and Cerio Rafael; several nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, U.S.A. and Philippines. Prayers to be held on Monday, February 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Memorial service to be held on Wednesday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m., also at Glen Eden. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital, 4th floor Unit 10, 11 and 12 for their wonderful care. A special thank you to Dr. Mark Kristjanson, Dr. L. Cheung, and homecare givers, especially Vicky. In lieu of flowers, if friend so desire, donations may be made to the Seven Oaks Hospital Foundation.
