MARY LACOMY (nee ZAJAC) With her family by her side, Mary passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on Friday, February 17, 2006, at the age of 88 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family always came first. Everybody enjoyed Grandma Mary's Ukrainian dishes. Mary was active for many years with the CUAC Ladies Auxiliary, BVM Seniors and bingo. She also enjoyed many travels throughout Canada and the United States. Mary was predeceased by her husband Joseph; brother Harry; sister June; and son-in-law Joe Sawchuk. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Joanne Sawchuk; son Greg; daughter-in-law Joan; grandchildren, Gary (Michelle) Sawchuk, Colleen (Lorne) Mikulik, Darlene Sawchuk, Darrin (Lynn) Sawchuk, Brad (Alisa) Lacomy, Michelle (Marv) Namaka, Carmelle (Kevin) Pich; great-grandchildren, Justin Mikulik, Stephan Sawchuk, Nolan and Avery Sawchuk, Brett and Danica Namaka, Brady and Tori Lacomy; brothers, Peter and Mel; sisters, Anne and Lovey; numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 22, 10:00 a.m., at Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 965 Boyd Ave., with Rev.
