MAXIMILIAN WAGNER 1939 - 2006 Following a lengthy illness Maximilian passed away peacefully with his family by his side, February 18, at The Health Sciences Centre at the age of 66 years. Maximillian is survived by his wife Edith; two brothers, Johann (Annelise) their children, Joseph, Johann and Gabriela (Joseph); Joseph (Rosemarie) their children, Joseph and Engelbert; two sisters, Rosemarie Edfelder, Juliane Kugelstadter and family. He was predeceased by his parents Johann and Juliane Wagner; and one son James in 2002. Maximilian was born in Vachenlueg/Anger Germany, and he immigrated to Canada in 1989. Max met his soul mate Edith and they farmed in LaBroquerie until 2003. His never ending smile and positive outlook stayed with him till the bitter end. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 1:00 p.m. at Steinbach Funeral Home. Interment will take place at St. Joachim Parish Cemetery in LaBroquerie. Viewing will take place one hour prior the service. Appreciation goes to Gerda, as well to the rest of Edith's family who devoted their time and assistance in time of need including Angie and Dr. Van Ameyde.
