MARY BEREZOWSKI (nee HAPPYCHUK) It is with deep sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved wife and mother Mary, aged 72 years, of Navin, MB, on February 16, 2006, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Peter of 53 years; daughter Patricia Aitken (Lock); son Ron (Jan); granddaughters, Elizabeth and Melissa; mother Clementine; sisters, Nellie, Anne, Jean, Elizabeth; brother Bob (Sherry); brother-in-law Bill Chukra; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father John; father-in-law Paul; mother-in-law Paulina; sister Olga; brothers-in-law, Vic, George and Richard. Mary was born October 20, 1933, in Sandilands, MB. She was totally devoted to her family and being a wife and mother. Mary loved to cook, make her own recipes, and always had a pot of food to send home with her children. Mary and Peter spent many enjoyable hours in their garden, planting, adding new flowers, and enjoying the results. A spring trip to Carman to choose their hanging baskets and annuals was an anticipated yearly event. For their care and support of Mary, the family would like to thank the staff of 3B at St. Boniface Hospital, with a special thank you to Louise. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Rd. The Rev. Father Michael Krochak officiating. Private interment of cremated remains will follow at a later date in Green Acres Cemetery.
