KATHLEEN LOWRY SLOAN Died in her 83rd year on the evening of Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Toronto. Beloved wife of David Edward Sloan for 58 years. Loving mother of Pamela (Roger Hill), David (Christine) and Anne Berend. Dear Grandma of Peter Hill, Hilary and Laura Sloan, and Elizabeth and Robert Berend. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Joan McDonald (Alan) and Olive Frame; sister-in-law Eileen Craig; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, John and Jean Craig; stepmother Margaret Craig; sister Etta Frame; and brother John H. Craig. Born in Winnipeg, she lived for many years in Montreal and Toronto. Kathleen was a member of Rosedale United Church, a member of the staff of Eglinton United Church for ten years, a volunteer at the Art Gallery of Ontario and a long-time member of the Toronto Hunt. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, Toronto #1-800-616-3311, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22.
