Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER HOLLENDER On February 18, 2006 in his 100th year, Walter Hollender passed away at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Walter is survived by two daughters, Joyce (Peter), Lois (Don); five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and his sister Gladys Bean (Sam). He was predeceased by his wife Molly, on November 13, 2003 also his parents, Gustav and Emily and five brothers and two sisters. He was born April 28, 1906 in Niverville, MB and moved to Ashern where his father farmed and Walter went to school. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1926. Walter was employed by the Hydro and as an autobody man and a carpenter, but his real love was gardening. He could make anything grow. We would like to thank the Kildonan Personal Care Centre for the wonderful care given to him. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22 at 1:00 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church, 370 McKenzie St. with Pastor Bill Lehman officiating.
