  • Hi Grandma, I miss you and our scrabble tournaments. I still enjoy scrabble! I have a quilt that mom gave me that I plan to showcase on my new bed in my new home. I could not do that before, the place was not right. I miss visiting you and having a sleepovers. I miss the twin sister hills in Miami and going up there to look for fossils and crocuses. I found my own crocus somewhere else and planted it at my parents' place, and it has come up every year for quite some time. I am glad I did it, because there are no crocuses growing in the place I rescued it, because of heavy traffic from dirtbikers. I have a picture of the bluebird house on your old clothes line I took, and plan to hang it in my new house. Mom has shown me how to can, and now I understand the joy in it. I am very proud of my canned tomatoes, and they are the best. I think of you when I do the canning. I am going to do some more canning this summer. Thank you for the quilt Grandma, no one can hand stitch like you. Love Kim. - Posted by: Kimberley Rawluk (Grandchild) on: Feb 06, 2017
