GEORGE WILLIAM PETERS It is with feelings of great sadness and loss, that we announce the sudden passing of George William Peters on February 19, 2006, at the age of 52. He is mourned by his wife Marlene Peters of 30 years and two children, Danny Peters and Anna Peters (and fiance Anthony Kucera). George was born in Morden, MB on October 3, 1953 in the Morden Hospital. George was predeceased by his mother Elsie Peters and father Peter Peters and one brother John Peters. He is survived by one brother Pete Peters (Terry) and one sister Lucy Meurrens Peters, and leaving behind many nephews and nieces. George will be missed by many, he was a strong and positive man that always made sure his family was taken care of. He has always been a great business man and achieved the goals that he would make for himself. In 2004 he became a Real Estate agent and in one year of selling houses he became a top seller and received a bronze award from the Manitoba Real Estate Board, and this week he would have received the silver award. Dad you are an example for all of us to go on and overcome the struggles of our lives. The funeral service will be held at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Winkler, MB on February 24 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a public viewing held at Wiebe's Funeral Home in Winkler, MB from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23. The burial will proceed the service at South Side Cemetery.
