I knew jody from residence at the University of Manitoba a loving friend and such a dry sence of humour I miss her and think of her often a generous heart and loving soul. Thank you for all those swimming lessons. Rest in peace sweet gal. - Posted by: Lisa Paladino (friend) on: Aug 10, 2017

I met Jody at Madawaska Volleyball Camp in the summer of 1991 after she accepted the head coaching position at Laurentian University. After talking with her throughout the week, she offered me the opportunity to become her assistant coach. She gave a developing young coach a chance to improve his skills, taught me about the game, and how to handle life's little struggles. I learned from her that there are few obstacles that cannot be overcome. Her influence has made me so much of the coach I am today, and for this I thank you. Rest in peace Jody. - Posted by: Eric Laberge (Friend) on: Feb 23, 2006

Jody was a friend of ours during our days at U of M where we met through Bison Football. She was part of the training staff and quickly became a good friend. She was someone who was capable of brightening anyone's day. She drove up from Winnipeg back in 1986 and attended our wedding in Thunder Bay ON., a gesture that was much appreciated. It was with great sadness that we received this news and our prayers are with Jody's family. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. God Bless you, Jody. Sincerely: Brad and Carolyn Johnstone, Fonthill, Ontario. - Posted by: Brad Johnstone (Friend) on: Feb 23, 2006
