ADAM MICHNOWICZ Suddenly, on February 20, 2006 with his family at his side our husband, Dad and Grandpa passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. He was predeceased by his father Nicholas, mother Sophie and sister Tina. Adam is survived by his loving wife Jadwiga; his daughters, Marlene, Janice (Dan Wall), Karen (Dave) Roy, Kim (David) Mathers, and their mother Bernice; granddaughters, Raelene, Samantha, Paige. He is also survived by Jadwiga's children, Aldona (Irek), Boguslaw (Wiesia), Margosata (John); and their children, Maciej, Philip, Michael, Michael; sisters Nina (Harry), Janina, many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Adam was born in Moracz, Byelorussia on November 7, 1932 and immigrated to Canada in 1948. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman who passed along this passion to his family. The family wishes to extend the deepest thanks to the emergency staff of Seven Oaks hospital for their care of Adam. A memorial service in Adam's honour will be held on Friday, February 24, 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Reception to follow. Fr. Wesley Chieka officiating.
