ARMAND MANAIGRE Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Armand Manaigre passed away into the Lord's Kingdom of love and wholeness on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at the Grace Hospital. Besides his loving wife of 49 years, Aurise (De Gagné); he leaves to mourn his passing his four children, Bob (Valerie), Clare (Jim), Dianne and Ron; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Cassandra and Lance Manaigre and Stephen Perry. He was predeceased by his parents, Omer and Ida (Remillard); and two brothers, Emile and Gérard. He is survived by his siblings, Hermine, Arthur, Odias, Yvette, Aimé, Victoire, Anita, Edmond, Anne-Marie and Patrick; their spouses and many nieces, nephews and friends. Armand worked most of his life for Inco in Thompson and as a custodian for the local school board division. Loving husband and father, Armand was an excellent provider, generous and hard working. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and hunting. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by Fr. Fred Olds at Saint Bernadette Church, 820 Cottonwood Rd. on Thursday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior to service. Burial will take place at Green Acres Cemetery, Hwy. No. 1 at Navin Road. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the staff of Charleswood Care Home, where Armand lived for nearly seven years. Special thank you also to the Grace Hospital staff for their excellent care and to the E. J. Coutu Funeral Chapel.
