Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN SAWA Peacefully, on February 21, 2006 at Holy Family Nursing Home, surrounded by her family, Jean Sawa passed on to her eternal rest. Jean was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1959. Left to cherish her memory are; her children, Jim (Eileen), Gladys (Ken, Marty and Katie), and Larry (Wanda, Kevin and Scott); sisters, Ann Larrivee of Moose Jaw and Lash Kirkpatrick of California; special life-long friend Ann Misko, along with numerous extended family and close friends. Jean was born in Winnipeg on September 2, 1916. She retired from the Hudson Bay Company after 30 years of service in 1981. Jean was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Special thanks to the staff of Holy Family Nursing Home, St. Francis ward, for their wonderful care and compassion extended to Mom. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will follow at a later date in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations may be made in Jean's memory to the Holy Family Nursing Home, 165 Aberdeen Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
