Date of Passing: Feb 19, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESA MARY MARGARET PERRY (nee FITZGIBBONS) 1925 - 2006 Affectionately known as Terry Mary Perry, beloved wife and best friend of Hal for 55 years, passed away with grace and dignity on Sunday, February 19, 2006, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by an infant daughter. Born in Winnipeg, MB, a graduate of St. Mary's Academy who also attended the University of Manitoba, Terry worked for Singer's in Winnipeg as a young woman where she forged lifelong friendships. She spent many years as a bookkeeper with the Red River Exhibition in Winnipeg and Bondars Fine Furniture in Calgary where she moved with her family in 1972. Terry was a dedicated mother, devoted to her precious family. The boundless love she held for everyone she ever cared for sparkled through her incredible blue eyes. She was a fabulous cook and gracious hostess who enjoyed entertaining. Terry also enjoyed gardening and was most content spending time there, enjoying the fruits of her labour with a good book. She was a voracious reader and great conversationalist with an unprecedented sense of humour. Her mind was as sharp as her heart was deep. Terry is lovingly remembered and will be profoundly missed by her devoted husband; sons and daughter and their families, David (Leslie), Jeff (Carol) and Barbara (Bob); grandchildren, Curtis (his mother Deb and stepfather Eric), Michelle (Travis), Michael, Robyn, and Holly; and great-grandson Blake. She leaves to cherish her memory three brothers, Jim (Judy) of Kelowna, BC, Harry (Evelyn) of Napanee, ON and Howard (Mary) of Winnipeg; brother-in-law Allan of Winnipeg; nieces and nephews; extended family; and many dear friends and neighbours. At Theresa's request, a private family service was held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes to this beautiful soul may be made directly to the charity of the donor's choice. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Kim Wilmot, Dr. Robert Herget and the amazing staff on Unit 61 at the Rockyview General Hospital for their tender and compassionate care and friends and family for their loving support. In living memory of Theresa Perry, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES Park Memorial Chapel, 5008 ELBOW DR.
