MARY KERR It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Graeme Kerr, on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the Grace General Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bob; her children, Patricia (Patty) (Reg) of Yorkton SK, John (Liz) of Selkirk, MB and Margaret (Trent) of Winnipeg, MB. She also leaves to mourn her passing, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. We will all miss her dearly. Mary is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Dixon (Howard) of California, Jane Webster of Nova Scotia and a sister-in-law Marnie Ross of Ontario. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother John Ross and by one grandson Charles Shingoose. Mary served overseas with the W.R.C.N.S. from 1943 to 1946. She was a 15-year volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Nan's greatest accomplishment was to raise her family in Sudbury (Lively) and Thompson. After moving to Winnipeg she watched her family grow and always welcomed them to her home cooking and loving atmosphere. She was always there for all of them. A memorial service will be held at the St. James Presbyterian Church, 1476 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, on February 25 at 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca. Remembrances may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, St. James Presbyterian Church, or a charity of one's choice in Mary's memory.
