VICTOR S. CRUZ The family announce the passing of Victor S. Cruz on February 20, 2006 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 81 years. Victor was born on December 26, 1924 in Navotas Rizal, Philippines. He was happily married to Leonila Toledo for 59 years. Besides his loving wife Leonila, left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Corazon Gier with children, Edwin, Evelyn, Ellen, Corrie and great-grandchildren, Victoria and son-in-law Romeo with children, Ramil and Rowena, Cresenciana, Eclevia and son-in-law Virgilio with children, Maria Vanessa, Maria Cecilia and Maria Karina, Sr. Purificacion a Salesian Sister of St. John Bosco, missionary in Kenya, East Africa. Predeceased by Reynaldo, the only son and Nicasio Gier, son-in-law, Connie Gier, granddaughter. Victor was a good, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A man of faith and always trusted in loving mercy of God. In his many years of suffering because of his illness, he was enduring and continue to hope with joy and encouraged by his wife. He was a friend to many. We will all miss him and will love him forever. Our family wishes to thank the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital for their care and concern in the moment of his illness. Lamay will be held Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25 at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 27 at 11:00 a.m., St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church.
