KATHLEEN (KAYE) PEARL TYCOLES (nee OSTRIKOFF) July 6, 1935 - February 12, 2006 It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of our mother and best friend Kaye Tycoles, in Penticton, BC. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Kate and Michael, brother and sister, Fred and Amy. Kaye is survived by her loving children, Fred (Giselle), Rachael (Michael) and Jackie (Sam); former husband Ernest; grandchildren, Cory, Jonathon and Fallon; sisters, Vivian, Lillian, Liz; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. Kaye never stopped giving to and caring for those who were close to her. The compassion, kindness and courtesy she displayed were beyond words. She had the ability to make everyone feel that they were special. Her family and friends were the most important part of her life. She was always there for them. She had the heart of a 20 year old, and lived life to the fullest. She will be sadly missed for a long time to come. Cremation has taken place in Penticton. A memorial service will be held in her honour on March 4, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 420 Corydon Ave. at Osborne Street. Interment to follow at a later date. If friends so desire, donations can be made to animal shelters and women's shelters of their choice.
