DOROTHY GWENDOLYNE KEBALO August 9, 1923 - February 23, 2006 It is with the deepest sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing away of Dorothy Kebalo on February 23, 2006 at the age of 82, with her loving family at her side at the Grace Hospital. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1992, whom she married in 1945. Dorothy will be dearly missed by her sons, Peter (Glenda) and Edward (Daphne) and daughters, Yvonne Peters and Sandra Siemens; seven grandchildren, Nick (Kim) and Kristin Kebalo, Chad Kebalo, Glenn and Gregg Peters, David and Michael Siemens and newly arrived great-granddaughter Kiarra Kebalo; as well as beloved sister Minnie Finley and niece Bev Owens. Dorothy's life was devoted to her children and grandchildren, showing them total love, devotion, encouragement and a special gift of instilling in them independence and compassion for those less fortunate. Dorothy enjoyed the time spent at her sons' cottages and visits to her daughters and grandchildren in Calgary. One of the highlights of her life was her children's anniversary gift of a Las Vegas holiday. The family wishes to thank the excellent staff at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home for their exceptional care, kindness, compassion and friendship shown to Dorothy over the last 12 years. A thank you also goes to the Grace Hospital staff for their care and compassion over the last few days. In accordance with Dorothy's wishes a private family service and interment will take place.
