WILFRED JOHN HAMPSON Sadly Dad passed away on February 25, 2006 in Abbottsford, BC one week short of his 90th birthday. Dad was predeceased by his wife Grace after 59 years of marriage. Dad will be missed by his sister Phyllis; sons, Bob (Darlene), Terry (Gisele); grandchildren, Rob, Kim, David, Kevin (Stephanie), Michele (Bob) and great-grandchildren, Shayla and Cole. Dad was born in Winnipeg, served his country in the Second World War, worked for Canada Post for over 35 years and upon retirement moved to White Rock, BC. Mom and Dad explored all of British Columbia and took numerous trips throughout the world. They cherished their walks along Marine Drive and the White Rock pier. Summers were always with family at the cottage at Lac Du Bonnet. Until his passing, Dad lived independently, drove his car everywhere and until a few years ago played three rounds of golf every week, year round. We would like to thank the staff of Peace Arch Hospital and a special thanks to Bonnie, Susan and Katie for all their compassion and assistance.
