Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAREN LESLEY OVIATT (nee CLARK) November 20, 1959 - February 19, 2006 Bravely, after a three-year battle with cancer, Karen passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 46. She was predeceased by her grandmother Hilda Bailey and her mother Irene Clark. Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 23 years Ed; children, Samantha (Bryan) and Gordon with granddaughter Aries. She will also be missed by her father Norman Clark; sister Maria (Darrin); nephews, Justin, Andrew, and Carter. Karen will also be remembered by many extended family and longtime friends. Karen was born in England and came to Canada in 1968. She grew up in Winnipeg and was married on July 23, 1983. Karen was a devoted mother and friend, who was always encouraging and supportive. A memorial service will be held on Thursday March 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, 2235 Silver Ave. with a reception to follow. The family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital, with special thanks to Grace Cancer care. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca.
