DONALD ALLAN GOLEBESKI Peacefully and unexpectedly, Don passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at the age of 36 years. Don will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters; Brooke (5) and Lauren (2); wife Tammy Rak; parents Richard and Lorette Golebeski; sister Connie Gibson (Vince); parents-in-law Ed and Joan Rak; brother-in-law Tim Rak (Janet) and nephews Kurtis and Kyle. Born on July 16, 1969, Don grew up in Lac du Bonnet. After high school, he moved to Winnipeg, graduated from Red River College with a Business Administration Diploma, and began working at Tanco Mines in the chemical plant. During this time, he married Tammy, and they were blessed with the births of two precious little girls. Becoming a father and role model motivated Don to pursue his dream of being an accountant. He was near completion of his CGA Certification and was currently employed by Great West Life as a tax analyst. Don enjoyed golf, tennis, the NFL, reading, travelling and listening to a wide variety of music. Those closest to him treasured his warmth, loyalty and sense of humour. Don valued the time spent with his family and friends. Above all, he cherished his daughters. They were the centre of his world. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 28 at 10:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 710 Roanoke St., Winnipeg, MB with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Bruchanski, Ken Bruchanski, James Bruchanski, Chris Dubberley, Vince Gibson and Tim Rak. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Don's memory to the Blessed Sacrament Parish Children's Memorial Fund for Brooke and Lauren.
