GLADYS MAY HEBERT (nee BARNETT) November 29, 1925 - February 24, 2006 A LIFE WELL LIVED On February 24, 2006 Gladys, beloved wife of George Hebert passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care Unit. Gladys was predeceased by her mother Ethel, sister Bunny, brother Syd and granddaughter Tamara. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, George; daughters, Donna and Michelle (Bill); grandchildren, Stephen and Dara (Jay); and nieces and nephews, Randy (Linda), Kerry (Angie), Lorraine (Jeff), Linda (Kenny), Joanie (Don) and Barbie (Billy). Gladys loved her summers at Grand Beach. She was known by many as Auntie Gladdie and will be remembered by her many friends for her sense of humor, compassion and generosity. Mom refused to dress the part of an 80-year-old grandmother and continually impressed everyone with youthful appearance and attitude. She was Gina to many of her friends and their confident and tarot advisor. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all her visitors during her illness and the Riverview staff of 3E. A celebration of a life well lived will take place on Wednesday March 1, at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Flowers are gratefully declined by the family, instead a donation to a charity of one's choice may be made. THOMSON IN THE PARK: Funeral Home and Cemetery 1291 McGillivray Blvd. - 925-1120 (Between McGillivray and Pembina)
