ANNE KULCZYCKI (PROSKIE)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE KULCZYCKI (nee PROSKIE) Peacefully on February 26, 2006, after a lengthy illness, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Anne passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 85. Anne will forever remain in the memory of her daughter Maryann (Bill) Didyk; grandchildren, Lyle (Cheryl), Daryl (Nancy), Karrie (Jason); great-grandchildren, Jayden, Eric, Amy and Ashley. Also left to mourn are, her brother Peter (Ann) Proskie (Roblin), sister Lena LaBuke (Vancouver), sisters-in-law Julia Proskie (Yorkton), Doris Proskie (Roblin), as well as many relatives of the Kulczycki and Proskie families. Anne was predeceased by her loving husband Paul (1973); parents Michael and Apolina Proskie; brothers Joseph, Nick, Harry; sister Mary Ardies; brothers-in-law Victor Ardies, John LaBuke; in-laws Peter and Helen Kulczycki, Stan and Elsie Kulcsycki, Adam and Carole Kolteski, William Kohut; nephews Keith and Gary Kulcsycki. Anne was born and raised in Merridale, MB (near Roblin), moving to Winnipeg, where she met and married the love of her life Paul. In addition to raising her daughter, Anne worked as a seamstress for many years and will be fondly remembered for her special skills in creative sewing and designing clothes for her family and friends. Anne also worked at the Convention Centre, where she took great delight in working with the friendly staff and patrons. She had a love for gardening and took pride in her garden and flowers, but her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bhanot and all the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, especially 3rd Floor, Units 1, 2 and 3 for the exceptional love and care given to Anne. Prayers will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, March 3 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. with a Basilian Father presiding. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. If people so desire, donations in Anne's memory may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation or St. Nicholas Church Building Fund.
