KENNETH LANDER, CA 1941 - 2006 Our father Kenneth Lander, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 25, 2006. He will always be lovingly remembered as a wonderful father and best friend to his daughter Cari (Jeff); son Shael (Ryce); Zaidie extraordinaire to Leah and Hallie; and special grandpa Ken to Arian and Keana. Ken was a generous, giving, selfless person. He found joy in the simple things in life - driving his car, going to Winnipeg Beach and walking in Kildonan Park. His grandchildren will always remember how special and loved he always made them feel. They were his pride and his joy. We have wonderful memories of the times we spent with our dad. He will live in our hearts forever. Dad, we understand that death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live. Thank you to all of Ken's friends, colleagues and family who visited and called. Your caring has helped us with our pain. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ken's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
