YVETTE THERRIEN ( nee MORIN) August 26, 1928 - February 26, 2006 Peacefully on February 26, 2006 at the age of 77 years, Yvette passed away at home in the arms of the Lord surrounded by her loving family. Yvette was predeceased by her parents, Valentine and Paul Morin and brother Désiré Morin. Yvette will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 53 years, Auguste; her children, Lorraine Gauthier (Lawrence), Jeannine Gauthier (Arthur), Thérèse Lansard (Roger), Jacqueline Bell (Rick), Nicole Therrien, Maurice Therrien (Patricia); and 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Yvette will also be missed by her three sisters, Cécile Larocque, Elmire Fiola, Edmonde Leclerc (Edward). She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We will always remember Yvette as a kind hearted person who enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, bingo, knitting, spending time with her friends from her prayer group. Yvette always enjoyed all outings and lived life to the fullest. The family would like to thank Dr. Fredette, Anne Plett of Palliative Care, CancerCare Manitoba and a special thanks to family and friends for their support and prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Yvette's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Ste. Anne, MB. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date in Richer, MB.
