DORIS D. WHITE Peacefully, with family by her side, Doris passed on February 23, 2006 at Jocelyn House, Winnipeg. She is survived by her daughter Shelley (Russ); son Brad; grandchildren and their families; brothers and sisters-in-law; a sister and brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. She is predeceased by her parents, Walter and Lillian Ridler. Mom was a caring person who loved her family and friends. Mom loved animals, especially her toy poodle, Polo. She was especially proud of having owned her own house on Strathcona Street. We'll all miss her. Memorial service will be held on Monday, March 6 at 11:30 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Interment to follow for family at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kristjanson, Jackie and the staff of Jocelyn House and to Dr. Kanji for their wonderful care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jocelyn House, 177 Egerton Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 2W7. MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
