Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE KOZAK November 18, 1923 - February 25, 2006 Elsie passed away peacefully during the evening of February 25, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Steve Kozak in 1995, her older sisters, Vera Olender, Ollie Kozak, Ann Matthews and brothers, Ted, Alex and Nick. Elsie will be missed by her sisters, Helen Norek, Mary Fliss, and Irene Kalina. Elsie was born November 18, 1923 in Winnipeg to parents Domka and Fred Dowhaniuk. Elsie married Steve Kozak June 1945 in Thunder Bay, ON and enjoyed a loving marriage for 49 years. The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses on the 4E floor at the St. Boniface Hospital. As well as to Dr. Narrandes for his kind care. Many thanks to our dear friends Bernice Leadbeater and family, and Pauline Herbert and her family who have shown unconditional love to Elsie and all the family. A Funeral Service will held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with a viewing one hour prior to the service. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre following the interment.
