BESSIE IRVINE On February 28, 2006, Bessie passed away peacefully at the Golden Door Centre, Winnipeg, at the age of 81 years. Bessie was predeceased by her husbands, Edwin Webb and Orvil Irvine; her parents, Frank and Emily Richtik; her brother Clayton and sister Josephine. Left to mourn her passing will be her children, Patricia Peltier (David), Rena Cure (Fred), Kyle Webb (Donna), Wanda Berthelette (Ralph) and Guy Webb. Also left to mourn are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with viewing one hour prior to. Bessie will be cremated following the service and her ashes will be buried at the St. Judes Cemetery, Grand Marais at a later date. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of the Golden Door Center of Winnipeg, the Pine Falls Hospital and the Selkirk Hospital for the care and love they have shown our beloved Bessie during her last months. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
