EMILY HELEN MAZUR (nee MAREK) Peacefully, on Monday, February 27, 2006, Emily passed away at the age of 78 years. Emily will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ed; daughter Jo Ann Klimchuk (Ray); and son Vern. She will always be in the thoughts of her sisters and brothers, Kay Chorney, Jean Prowse and Joyce Corbett (Arley), John (Helen), Joe (Wilma), Stan, Eddie (Vi) and Ken (Phyllis). Grandma will be missed by granddaughters, Jamie Keey (Ryan), Tara Klimchuk and Sydney Pelshea-Mazur; great-grandson James Keey; and sister-in-law Jean Marek. Emily was predeceased by her parents, George and Rose Marek; and by her brother Mike. Our mother loved her family and tended to their needs with the same love and care that she devoted to her garden. She will always be remembered for her unselfish and caring attitude. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 530 Atlantic Ave., Beausejour, MB with Rev. Fr. David Brabant presiding. Our family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Portage la Prairie General Hospital Palliative Team.
