HAZEL NAOMI MAZINE LINK (nee BROOKS) Hazel Naomi Maxine Link (nee Brooks) was unexpectedly taken from us on Saturday, February 25, 2006. Hazel was born August 7, 1936 at Peace River, AB. Most recently she was employed as a Home Care Worker with the Brandon Regional Health Authority. She cared deeply for her clients and was dedicated to their well being and enjoyment of life. She made many new and lasting friends through her home business at which she worked very hard to be successful. Hazel was an avid reader and also enjoyed sewing, visiting and playing cards in her spare time. The Hazels were well known on the local coffee circuit. She looked forward to her hairdressing appointments, and spending time talking and visiting with her friends while doing their hair . Hazel is survived by her sisters, Carol and Rosella; her brothers, Ross, Ken and Jim; former husband Arthur Link; children, Ron, Lawrence, Melanie and Clarence, and grandchildren Daniel, Jeremiah, Connor, Tegan and Alison. She was predeceased by her parents Martha and James Brooks. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Viewing will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening and one half hour prior to the service.
