CAROLINE NAUMANN A lady of great courage and fortitude, Carrie died March 2, 2006 of breast cancer, her last challenge in her long life of 88 years. Predeceased by husband Fritz (1977), daughter Janet (1996) and brothers, Joe and John. She is survived by her children, Paulette (Herb) of Calgary, Gerry (Bev) of Winnipeg, Debra of Winnipeg, grandchildren, Sherri, Elizabeth, Michelle and Michael and two great-grandchildren Matthew and Holden. She left behind brother Alec and sisters Josie, Jeannie, Fran, Betty, Rose and Vi. Mom was a strong woman who was unable to complete a formal education but was self-taught by her great love of reading. She was a great cook and collector of recipes. She was always there for you. She was the matriarch for her brothers and sisters and immediate family. She raised four children and helped raise two grandchildren. We thank you for that. She was thrilled about her two great grandchildren. Home and family were the most important things in her life. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment and reception to follow.
