SUSAN LOUISE DIAMOND (nee AVERY) It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Susan Diamond on Sunday, February 26, 2006, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Susan is survived by her husband Gil Diamond; her two sons, Jeff of Winnipeg and Mike of Hamilton; three step-children, Dustin, Kirk and Rachel, all of Winnipeg; mother Sheila Avery; step-father Tony; two sisters, Ruth Ann and Mary Jean; and four brothers, John, Dave, Gary and Dan all of Hamilton. She was predeceased in death by her father Harry John Avery. A private family funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Blvd. Our family would like to extend a special thank you to Ginny and Dan Thomson, Chaplain Max Ryan and his wife Pat and all the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface General Hospital. You've made our time of grief bearable. As an expression of sympathy, if friends so desire, donations in Susan's memory may be made to the St. Boniface General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
