Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURENCE HARVEY RAY CATCHEWAY (BADGEE) January 15, 1984 - March 2, 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Laurence Harvey Ray Catcheway of Skownan First Nation, on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the tender age of 22 years. Laurence leaves to mourn his passing, his mother Lucy Catcheway (stepfather Pius Contios); his paternal father Laurence Marsden; his brothers, Harold Catcheway, Richard Catcheway and Chris Bewell; his sisters, Louisa Nepinak, Suzie Catheway, Giselle Catcheway, Chery Bewell and Shirley Catcheway; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins and extended family and friends that all loved him very much. Laurence was predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Mary Catcheway; his uncles, Gordon and Harvey Catcheway; his aunties, Mary Rose and Florence Catcheway; his cousins, Maureen Catcheway and Patsy Demerais. Laurence was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba until he was 6 years old. He resided in Skownan First Nation until the age of 18, then he moved back and forth from Skownan to Winnipeg. Laurence liked and enjoyed to play sports, listening to music, reading, writing and he always had a smile for everyone he met and talked with. He enjoyed watching movies and playing his game mortal kombat on his playstation. The most precious time he enjoyed was spending time with friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews, Preston, Skyler, Whitney, Leanna, Diana, Brenda, Nelson and Johnathon. He never refused to babysit for his sisters children when they asked him. He loved them with all his heart. Laurence is greatly loved and missed by all his family and friends who are left to mourn his passing. We love and miss you Badgee! You are in our hearts always and we will always cherish memories of your kind and loving heart. A wake service will be held on Sunday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6 at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Skownan, MB Father Norberto will be officiating Interment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery Arrangements Entrusted To: ANDERSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME Ashern, Manitoba 1-866-293-4951

My uncle Laurence will always be remembered as a loving and kind person with a big heart. He was a special person to many because of his loving nature for others, especially his family. My brother Laurence cherished his family and friends. He had a precious gift of being there for his family and his friends. I miss him dearly and I know he's watching over each and everyone of us that was there for him. If you're reading this he's watching over you at this moment.
