DOMENICO (NINO) TESSER With heavy hearts we say farewell to our beloved husband, father, nonno and friend, Nino Tesser, who passed away quietly at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, March 3, 2006 at age age of 70 years. Remaining to forever cherish Nino's memory are his loving spouse Jill Francis; children Dean (Sisi), Linda, Michael Tesser (Lynn), Michael Francis and Pam (Mike); siblings Mariucia, Ileana, Graciana and Claudio; grandchildren Melissa Kubinec, Luke and Emerson; step-grandchildren Taylor and Brody and many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. He was predeceased by his parents, Elvira and Umberto Tesser and by a granddaughter Chase Elizabeth Tesser. Nino left this world in the same fashion that he lived his life; with bravery, kindness, generosity, and dignity. He lived every moment to the fullest and by his rules. His compassion and concern was for those around him and complaints were left absent from his vocabulary. Whether a friend or stranger, Nino had the most amazing gift of melting your heart with just the slightest touch on the arm, a kiss on the cheek, or one of his signature bear hugs. So full of personality - he could bring to life any room he walked into. He looked forward to spending his summers with friends and family at the cottage and would count down the weeks until his next flight to Vallarta. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 8 at 10:00 am in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. We thank Marion Tesser, who lovingly helped Nino raise their three children, and for your love and support during these past difficult weeks. A very special thank you to Carter' and Lynda and all the staff of the GB3 Ward at HSC - your gentle kindness will not be forgotten; to Father Sam for your continued words of support to the Tesser family and to Wojcik's Funeral Chapel and staff for taking special care of our Nino.
