LILA SINDER With great sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lila Sinder, on February 24, 2006. Our mother was small in stature, but went through life tall, never complaining about adversities and always with a smile. Her children were always her first priority and her passing leaves a huge void in our lives. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Meyers (George) and Frances Sinder; her brother Allan Hoffman; her grandchildren, Tamara Jacobs (Michael), Dayana Hershfield Manman (Mike) and Ariana Meyers. A graveside service was held Sunday, February 26 at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Carey Paul, Allan Paul, Jamie Paul, David Hoffman, Efrem Hoffman and Dr. Grant Goldberg. Special thanks to Daphne Davy for her wonderful care of our mother, at home, and to the wonderful staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit during her last few days. Special thanks, also, to Leslie Batte, Ariana Meyers and Laura Meyers for their unending help and devotion. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
