Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT HARVEY DUFF 1930 2006 On Sunday February 26, 2006 at the Sharon Home, my husband, lover and best friend passed away peacefully at the age of 75 years. Bob was born June 12, 1930 to Elizabeth and William, formally of 5 O'Meara St. He was predeceased by his brothers, Bill (Georgina), Don (Marg); sister Mae (Jack) Dinsley. He is survived by sisters, Margaret (Bill) Kershaw of Vancouver, Yvonne West of Abbotsford; and brother David (Linda) of Vancouver. Bob will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by his loving wife Pat of 51 years; children, Cameron (Anita), Scott, Robin-Ann (Brian) Shuster, Kelly (Dan) Sutherland; grandchildren, Tia and Bryce Shuster, Will, Ashley and Mason Sutherland. Bob attended St. John's Tech where he met many life long friends. His love for hockey began with Vince Leah as his coach. Following this Bob played hockey overseas in Scotland. On his return to Winnipeg his relationship with Pat flourished, as a result they married a few years later. His love for sports continued with golf, especially his passion for hockey, now as a coach at Vince Leah C.C. He also enjoyed volunteering his time in the community through church and as a Boy Scout Leader. He was a member of King Edward Lodge #93 and received 50 years of Masonry in 2004. Dad thoroughly enjoyed traveling, whether on camping vacations with the family or on cruises with Pat. Bob had been employed for many years with Cyanamid of Canada and as an assoc. for Zimmer Surgical, he then moved on and excelled as a distributor for Richard's Surgical where he eventually retired. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital 3rd floor Unit 4 and the staff at the Sharon Home 4th floor for their care and compassion. Celebration of Bob's life will take place on Saturday, March 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Kildonan United Church, 187 Kilbride Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg 10-120 Donald St. or the Kildonan United Church.
