ALEX ROWE 1927 - 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alex Rowe on March 1, 2006 in Concordia Hospital at at the age of 78. Alex will be dearly missed by his loving wife Pearl of 56 years; children, Randy (Dale), Rhonda (Bob) Stelmach, Dale (Sharon) and Darren (Debra). Cherished grandchildren, Andrea, Marie, Sherra, Kari, Stacey, Jordan and Brandon. His two sisters, Ann and Minnie. He will also be missed by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In his pastime Alex loved spending time at the lake with family and friends fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. In his retirement years Alex spent numerous hours in his garage building and painting birdhouses and butterflies. He could also be found in the garden tending to his grape vines or in the basement bottling his wine. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 701 Regent Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alex's name to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
