Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON ARTHUR HUNT PETE Peacefully, on March 2, 2006 at Riverview Health Centre, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Gordon Hunt, passed away at age 74 years. Gordon leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his wife of 35 years, Toni; his children, Mark, Lloyd (Jodi), Marlene (Richard), Sharon (Alain); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Andrew and Stephanie; his brother Carmen and sisters, Doris and Roberta. He was predeceased by his grandparents, parents and three sisters. An avid outdoors man, Gordon loved his hunting, and planting huge gardens at his weekend escape, his childhood home in Bernie, MB. He was a simplistic man, who enjoyed his time with friends, playing cribbage, cards, horseshoes and bingo. A Korean veteran, Gordon had been a longtime member of the Transcona Legion Branch No. 7. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Riverview Health Centre, for the care and compassion extended to Gordon throughout his stay. Visitation to be held Monday evening March 6, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral service to be conducted on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. also at the chapel with Rev. Peter Cain officiating. Interment to follow March 11, 2006 at Riverside Cemetery, Neepawa, MB. If friends so wish, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
